Giving

Cash or Check

Cash may be placed in the offering bags during the offering time of service. To receive tax deductible receipts, please provide your name and mailing address with the cash donation. Otherwise, no tax deductible receipts will be issued for cash donations.

Checks should be made payable to Lord’s Grace Christian Church and may be placed in the offering bags during the offering time.

Online banking may be set up to send checks to LGCC directly without incurring any transaction fee to the church.

Giving Online

Through Tithe.ly, transaction fees incurred by LGCC are:

  • ACH (direct draw from bank account) – $0.30 per transaction + 1% of amount
  • Visa or Mastercard – $0.30 per transaction + 2.9% of amount
  • American Express – $0.30 per transaction + 3.5% of amount
  • To ensure LGCC receives the amount that you intend to give, please check the box “Cover Fee”, which will increase the online donation amount to cover the transaction fee incurred by LGCC.

Online giving may be made through Tithe.ly. You may create an account for one-time and recurring giving. Click the button below, then follow the instructions below.

Give to LGCC

To give through mobile app:

  1. Download the Tithe.ly app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Set up your account. Link your bank account or your credit card
    information directly.
  3. Open the Tithe.ly app. Search “Lord’s Grace Christian Church”. Once it’s found, click
    “Give Now”. Then it will direct you to Tithe.ly web site.
  4. Follow the instructions below.

Tithe.ly Giving Instructions

  1. Choose your payment method: direct draw from bank account or credit card.
  2. Fill in the online form:
    a. Type in donation amount
    b. Choose fund designation
    c. Check donation method
    d. Type in your mailing address
    e. Choose “Cover processing fee”
    f. Choose automated giving if you want to set up recurring donation plan.
  3. Click “Give”.

Give Stock

Making a gift from appreciated stocks or other securities that have been held for more than a year creates a win-win situation for both you and the church. You will receive a charitable tax deduction for the full fair market value of the donated stock/securities.

Give through Charitable Funds

Giving may be made through charitable funds. LGCC is set up as a charity in the list of charities with major charitable funds. You may use the information below to look up LGCC in the list of charities:

Other Giving

Please contact LGCC Accounting at accountant@lordsgrace.org or at 650-623-0917 x106 if you wish to give to LGCC in other ways such as estate planning, etc.

Company Match

If your employer has a donation match program for non-profit organizations, please consider having them match your donation to LGCC, specified to “Love Fund project”. Some companies use the Benevity platform to process donation matches, please check with your company (LGCC is on Benevity).

The Love Fund project at LGCC supports people in need without regard to their religion, such as disaster relief, emergency family needs, and community needs like food banks and homeless shelters.
