Street Evangelism
banner_streetev.jpg "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
Matthew 9:36 - 38

Through street evangelism, we are able to spread the gospel to people outside of our reach in our normal day-to-day life. Street evangelism typically takes place on Sunday afternoon at Cupertino Village and Milpitas Square. Brothers and sisters are paired up to spread the gospel to everyone we meet, from diners and shoppers to kitchen workers, and from Chinese to Hispanics. Classes on evangelism are offered from time to time to equip us with knowledge and skills needed. Although not everyone we meet will accept Jesus as their personal savior, we know we have planted seeds in their hearts that will grow in God's timing.

The only thing needed to participate in street evangelism is a willing heart to serve, and what you get in return is the wonderful joy of introducing people to our loving heavenly father.
