Dear beloved prayer supporters and friends of Victor,
Thank you so much for mobilizing prayer support and cover for me. The Kenya National Economic and Social Council meetings went well. Our first meeting was with the Prime Minister on the morning of Saturday, October 4. The Lord gave me favor with the Prime Minister who showed great interest in what I had to say about the need to create well-managed and well-operated Industrial Parks to create jobs and attract foreign investments to Kenya; and the need to provide affordable clean, safe and modern public housing that will provide shelter and create wealth for the poor and lower middle class. The Prime Minister invited me for lunch personally afterwards to hear more.

Dear Mission Partners:
Just want to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to your love and prayer support in the past, we left Hong Kong and went back to Los Angeles on September 2, 2008, then stayed there for about two weeks, visted Sindy’s parents, family and shared at Sindy’s mother church. Then we headed to San Francisco on September 14, started our six-week furlough ministry. For this trip, Derek prepared a lot of winter clothing; however, due to warm weather, he has not got chance to wear these yet. Will go back to Los Angeles by the end of October, continue our furlough for another month. On December 1, we will go back to Costa Rica to begin a new chapter of our lives.

Dear Friend
We are preparing to go to <our missions field>* again, hoping for better weather then they are having this week! Before we take off, I wanted you to have this update that I have completed about the various nations where we are involved, and where <our organization> and Patti and I are headed over the next year. As you have probably heard, we are hoping to make a move to Asia in 2009. Some of the reasons for that are included in the attached update. As you think about us, pray for these things: |

Dear Mission Board of LGCC,
I am very grateful you (my mother church, Lord’s Grace Christian Church of Mountain View, CA) are very supportive to Wycliffe’s IT mission conference, Check IT Out. You are very generous to support up to half of the registration fees. I do hope this will very much encourage the IT folks from my church to come and get to know how they can involve in missions, particularly in the work of Wycliffe Bible Translators. I am excited and look forward to greet many friends from my church. |
